Notice how the vent for the furnace is causing the crown to deteriorate. Crown is cracking and the bricks are badly spalling. Crown is badly cracked.
Maybe time for a new chimney cap? Well, it is almost flashed!?! Inside top of prefab chimney chase rusted thru.
